As an autistic I am sensitive to sensory inputs. For me the things I am sensitive to are especially sounds, smells and texture. Not knowing that I was probably more sensitive to those things has lead to some strange experiences where I wondered how on earth other people could manage, but since I know I am autistic I can better manage my sensory inputs.
